Dr. Yong’s office is currently only able to accept new patients with the following:

• GI tumour or malignancy
• disorders requiring therapeutic endoscopy
• disorders requiring endoscopic ultrasound
• pancreatic and biliary disorders

Please note: New patients require a doctor’s referral to be seen. Doctor’s offices can fax new referrals to 416-480-4845. Appointments are communicated to the referring doctor’s offices by fax and to the patient by mail. Patients are asked not to contact the office until they have received an appointment. Due to very high volumes of referrals and the urgent nature of consultations, patients are required to confirm appointments otherwise the time slot may be given to someone else. In addition, we ask for 48 hours notice for cancellations. If cancellation is not received by 24 hours prior to an appointment, a cancellation fee will apply.

*In order to protect our patients during the COVID-19 pandemic, clinic appointments are now virtual. This means that your appointment will be conducted by telephone or video chat. Please also note that our staff are working remotely. Telephone messages will be checked regularly. You can also contact the office via email if you are an active patient.
